Big Apple NF font

Nick Curtis
A big, bold, in-your-face kinda font. I wish I could credit the original designer, but I don’t have the information. I found the font in a Dover clipart book called Art Deco Initials. Evidently, the editor found several incomplete fonts from the era and, rather than publish them as partial type specimens, used what she had to create this book. The font has several characteristics that are similar to the logotype font for The New Yorker, hence the name.
