‘Title 20’ was designed and created soley to be used as a display font. The typeface is big, bold and glorious with cohesive curves and cut marks tying each character together.
‘T20’ was originally inspired by the decade of the 1920’s. The final outcome however has been applied to photography from my home town of Taurnaga. From places and sites that I have spent a vast majority of my life.
Finding meaning behind the font is not that complicated. I weighted the coloums to resemble strength and the long curves mirror a soft edge. Creating something that confidently stood out but still holds a reserved and friendly feel. Falling back to aspects of hyper-masculinity in society such as the expectations to be strong and confident and to be sucessful, to be there, to be known.
